We caught up with Manuel Osborne-Paradis this afternoon after his second training run on the Men’s Olympic downhill course at Lake Louise for the Bombardier Winterstart event. What did Manuel have do say? It’s cold, season is shaping up well and we’re ready to get going!
We asked Manuel a few questions about his plans for the weekend at Lake Louise and the FIS Alpine World Cup race season.
Q: What’re your goals for the 2010/2011 season?
M: I’d like to definitely finish in the top 10 every race. I think its a good goal to have.
Q: And your goals for the weekend?
M: Really trying to focus on ski improvement. I’m struggling with ankle initiation at the top of the turn and I’d really like to fix that problem.
Q: Any more plans to race GS?
A: Ya we’ll be racing Beaver Creek, Adelboden and a couple of more. Feeling really strong in GS.
